Founder’s Philosophy

I was the first woman in my family to have a career. My father, who launched his own firm at the age of 53 after a job transition, was a staunch believer that each of his three daughters would be able to support themselves, no matter what life had in store.

In 2008, after rising to an executive role at The Northern Trust Company, I made the decision to stay at home with my young children. I had built my professional brand on client-centric focus, the highest level of responsiveness, speaking my mind, and developing lifelong relationships, and wanted to continue to occupy myself intellectually. I threw myself into philanthropy, serving as Board Chair for several organizations while also consulting investment management firms. In the process, I developed an incredible external network helping people in transition, helping women re-enter the workforce, and helping college students with resume or interview prep—all without charge for my intellectual engagement.

I returned to the workforce full-time in 2012, and quickly fell in love with transition support. I found clients flocked to my accessibility, decisive action and problem-solving capabilities. In my new role, I held teams accountable for the highest standards of care and developed a reputation with clients for being the best in the business, but I also noticed structural problems.  A tendency to to hire coaches without appropriate backgrounds, a lack of a willingness to hire/promote/retain a diverse workforce, and dilutive standards of responsiveness were issues to be addressed.

I began to imagine a better way to align the interests of companies and transitioning individuals in a significantly better way: By providing higher standards, better communication, and common goals backed by the strongest Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators in the industry.

And thus was born Group 360, a global outplacement consulting firm with a warm, personalized approach and a proudly-certified Women’s Business Enterprise, Minority Business Enterprise, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise. We hold Diversity and Inclusion at the center of our business values, and uphold a passionate dedication to providing thoughtful, dependable Career Transition with Care.™
